WORK EXPERIENCE
2005		Gaspé / The Last Land / Gespeg,Gund Family Artist Commission Watercolor suite of images on the idea of “last/lost lands”

		Title Designer for “After Innocence” A feature documentary film about wrongful imprisonment of the innocent who are exonerated by DNA. In competition at the Sundance Film Festival.

2004		“Lapis Lazuli” The Bonel Collection Artist Commission A one-of-a-kind artist book on William Butler Yeats’ “Lapis Lazuli.”

2003-4		Design and Research Associate Maya Lin Studio, New York, NY Worked with Maya Lin on The Confluence Project and produced the concept book Confluence Project. Confluence Project, a seven-site project throughout the state of Washington along the Columbia River, tells the story of Lewis and Clark and the history and mythologies of the Native Americans. Also worked on 3-D models for UC Irvine Arts Complex, Museum of Chinese in America and earth sculpture for Wanas in Sweden.

		Designer, Artist, Editor, Publisher: The Bonnie & Morgan Press, Santa Monica, CA Last Night We Were Awoke: Lewis & Clark- Memory of a Journey A limited edition artist book recreating Meriwether Lewis and William Clark’s famed westward expedition in an accordion-style book. Each page unites a chart of the stars and planets exactly as they appeared to the explorers on a particular night with an excerpt from their writings. On the reverse side are my own visual musings on the historic journey. The title of the book comes from Clark’s description of the northern lights upon viewing them for the first time. This past year marked the bicentennial of the beginning of the expedition, which lasted three years. Last Night We Were Awoke is in the permanent collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, UCLA Special Collections and Stanford University, among others.

2003		Editorial Assistant The Paris Review, New York, NY Evaluated and critiqued fiction and poetry submission for the 50^th Anniversary Issue of The Paris Review.

2002		Designer, Artist, Editor, Publisher: The Bonnie & Morgan Press, Santa Monica, CA I WAS THERE: Rumor Fable Exploit A limited edition of 250 artist books, hand printed on the letterpress. The book takes the traditional art form of the hand printed book to a contemporary setting, bringing together emerging and established writers and artists. Contributors include Naomi Shihab Nye, Rick Ridgeway, Anne Lamott, Mark Salzman and Richard Wilbur.
